A beautiful trip downriver on a late afternoon as far as Ballynatray from Villierstown and back. This was a superb experience we all will treasure and something we could not do ourselves. Mike and Alan were good fun, very informative and professional. The Blackwater is very peaceful and beautiful- hard to understand why more people do not visit the area and take this trip- they are missing something very special.
I can not recommend availing of one of the services with Eco tours. Took a self drive boat up the river and OMG loved it. the 2 guys could not have done anymore for us. We were 1 Hr late but had called ahead to advise.. when we got there there were super friendly and allowed us as much time as the Tide would allow, even radioed us on the boat to say - No rush go back out again. Honestly well worth supporting. We will be back. Thank You guys..

Absolutely lovely afternoon on the water yesterday. Completely faultless and amazing service and storytelling. Would definitely try and stay in the pods when down this way again.
Have been out with Eugene for a spin twice now in the space of a week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! I initially went out on the boat with just my husband but, as we enjoyed it so much, we brought our children and my parents yesterday. Eugene is full of knowledge about the area and answered any questions that we had. The Blackwater river isnt very far from where I live but have never explored it before. Absolutely recommend this trip for locals and tourists alike, we'll be out again before the end of the summer. Thanks Alan and Eugene for a lovely experience!
